Microsoft has been teasing the next generation of its Surface Pro line with a number of leaks in recent months, and now the company has officially confirmed that its new Surface Pro 7 will be unveiled at an event on October 26. The new Surface Pro has been teased on social media with a number of leaks, one of which was posted by Microsoft’s own Surface team. The leak reveals a number of the device’s specifications, and it does not look like the company has changed too much with the Surface Pro 7, with most of the leaks pointing to a similar design, and a slightly smaller display.
Microsoft may be launching a new Surface device this year, but it may not be what you’re expecting. A Reddit user has leaked full specifications of the upcoming Surface Pro 7 device from a supplier, and the leaks show that the Pro 7 will not be a slimmed down version of the Pro 6, but will instead be a more powerful device compared to its predecessor.
Google Chromecast allows you to display the screen of your small device on another screen, preferably a larger one. However, you can point your Windows 10 PC or Mac screen at a smart TV for a broader, higher-quality viewing experience. Using the Chromecast is simple. You can find the Cast button and press it to enlarge the screen.
However, some users have asked if the Chromecast feature can be used to extend the TV as a second screen. Since it features screen mirroring, you can use it as an extension of your Windows 10 or Mac desktops and your Chromebook laptops.
If you use your Chromecast as an additional monitor for your desktop or laptop, you can drag apps to a larger screen and still keep what’s on your computer screen. For example, you can drag and drop a file to open it on your smart TV while opening another application on your Windows PC, macOS or ChromeOS device.
Can I expand my Windows or Mac desktop screen by using Google Chromecast as a monitor?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. You cannot use the Chromecast as a second monitor or extend your Windows or macOS desktop screen. You can only use the Chromecast to transfer browser tabs, files, computer desktop, images, music, videos and podcasts.
Chromecast is available in Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Opera and Brave. If you are using Firefox, there is also a Chromecast for Firefox, but you will need to use a third-party extension to stream via the Chromecast.
To use mirroring in your computer’s browser, you must have one of these devices: Chromecast, Chromecast with Google TV, Chromecast Ultra, or a smart TV with built-in Chromecast.
