The final day for the Pokemon Go Fest has come and gone. It was a rough day for some people but it was also a very successful one for the end. Here are some things you may have missed and should do if you want to have a successful experience at Pokemon Go Fest 2021.
I’m just going to come right out and say it. Pokemon Go Fest 2021 is shaping up to be one of the biggest things to happen in the history of the franchise. This is something that no one has ever done before, and nothing will ever be able to match the hype that surrounds this event. Besides the overall excitement, it seems that everyone has something to gain or lose from this craze. With so many different groups coming together, it could potentially create some of the worst or best experiences in the franchise’s history.

Pokemon Go Fest 2021: How to catch as many trolls as possible
For beginners, Niantic recommends getting to level 10 first. If you are below level 10, make sure you reach level 10 before the event to get the maximum experience.
Make enough room in your Pokémon box beforehand. I cleared almost 500 seats. This avoids the stress of an overflowing Pokémon box. Unless it’s your favorite Pokémon or a super rare Legendary Pokémon, you probably don’t need 10 or more Pokémon of the same type, so get rid of them or trade them with your friends or family to make room. Or, if you have PokeCoins, you can upgrade your Pokemon box from 3,500 to 4,500 seats!
During the event, you can search your Pokémon box every hour for 4*s and 3*s to find the best catches (fingers crossed for 100% IV!) and mark the best Pokémon with a star. Because you can use it to take down the dreaded Pokémon IV.
Collect hundreds of Big Balls and Ultra Balls (by opening daily pre-event giveaways and rotating PokeStops), as well as Gold Razz Berries (obtained in Raids) and Silver Pinup Berries to catch rare and shiny Pokémon more easily and quickly during the day. Make room in the bag by removing too many revivals and using the rare candies. Of course, if you only test for brilliance, you won’t need as many of the best Pokéballs. So if you already have a Pokémon with an IV of 100%, you can just tick off that type of Pokémon and focus on catching other Pokémon you’re not that good at yet. If you decide to catch as many glitters as possible, it’s best to control the glitters, but you still need to have 100 Ultraballs and 100 Golden Razz Berries or Silver Pinap Berries so you can catch the glitters without letting them escape!
Make sure you collect enough PokeBalls for your Pokemon Go Plus or Gotcha device (again, it’s best to open gifts every day before the event), even if you shoot Pokéstops throughout the day, you may need several hundred PokeBalls per day. I kept 600, just in case. This lets you catch Pokémon in the background while you catch a rare or shiny Pokémon on screen. A lot of Pokémon will appear, more than you can tick off, so it’s a handy feature to have more chances to get more bling.
Starting the Pokemon Go application By completing the game on each of the two days, you unlock 2 special lines of research, but you can also complete them later at any time if you run out of time. That way, if you want, you can concentrate on catching rare Pokémon and shiny challenges during the event, and return to special research tasks after the event. So it’s good to know if you’re short on time, although it’s certainly fun to do them all at once.
Once the event has begun, use incense every day: Incense sticks activated during the event are active for an hour and become even better at attracting Pokémon. About 120 Pokémon per hour (up to 150 Pokémon per hour if you’re fast capturing or using screen refresh tricks). Personally, as soon as the daily 8-hour event starts, I immediately activate all 8 incense sticks, because the timer for the incense sticks and other items now adds up, so you don’t have to think about activating the next incense stick and can just focus on the game.
Although this year’s Go Fest is designed to be played from home, if you’re in a corona-affected area of the world (and the government allows it), you can go outside (with social distance) and walk to your favorite pokémon park or location and preferably play near a Pokéstops or two. In addition to passing Pokéstops, it’s a good idea to always be near multiple Pokéstops, as during this event Pokéstops are automatically baited and spawn many more Pokemon than normal! Combine this with the constant use of incense and you can greatly increase the number of possible scare moments!
Put your Buddy on a Pokémon you are at least friends with to help you catch it by returning the Pokéball to the Pokémon when it has fought back. This gives you a second chance to catch a rare/clear Pokémon without it running away. A good friend will also bring you gifts during the event, such as. For example, balloons, berries or the necessary tonic.
Explore the five habitats to find the greatest variety of sparks: On the first day, five themed habitats change every hour, each featuring a different Pokémon! In this way, every habitat is visited twice on Saturday. And get your most coveted Shine Pokémon from the list of naturally high Shine Pokémon (listed at the beginning of this guide). Allows you to target rare Pokémon that are also likely to appear during Go Fest 2021.
Make sure you take regular breaks to eat, drink, charge your phone, maybe take a nap, just like Snorlax, he knows how to relax. It is a fun game after all!
